A lively lab for transforming waste into a community-based circular economy
Residuo Cero Lab is a living ecosystem organized around a physical nucleus: a house located in the San Luis neighborhood of Teusaquillo, Bogotá. This space serves as a local hub where the community, working recyclers, citizens, businesses, artists, educational institutions, and environmental education programs come together.

In one of the world’s most biodiverse country, much of the recyclable waste ends up buried or polluting rivers, forests, and oceans. Many regions face poor connectivity, high transportation costs, and few opportunities to process materials locally.
